Engine upgrade??

Could anyone please tell me whether a 2005 Toyota 1.8L VVT-1, 16V ZZE-122R PETROL ENGINE, would fit into a 1990 Celica GT-R 4WS, replacing the 3S-GE?

why? 3sges are pretty easy to find.
plus your downgrading to a 1.8
but if you have to know youll have to change basically everything id say completely diff models/years/ cars

yes, it could be made to fit i'm sure... but it will cost more than the celica is worth to do it properly, so the cheaper options would be to freshen up the 3S or trade the celica in on something newer..
Maximum respect if you do go ahead and try it, and document the process and the costs etc for other toyspeeders to learn from if you do please!
