Gtt VSC dash light

The Vehicle Stability Control light in my dash doesn't come up at all.Shouldn't this light come up with others when you turn the car on.When should it come up?How can I know if the VSC is working in my car?

go do some skids and and loose control it will show up then

which light are you referring too?

if your VSC wasnt turned on or there was pretty much anything wrong with it then there would be a large orange VSC lit on the dash.


the vsc light (the one with the little car and the squiggly lines) will flash and usually you will be too busy paying attention to the road to see it.

it doesnt always beep, it depends on the manner that you are losing traction.

if you are going from a standstill then doing a one eighty turn (for example) and you have the foot down quite a bit, but not flat to the floor then it will quite often flash as it changes from 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 to drop the accelration a bit.

it seems to beep when you trigger more than 2 of the sensors (eg you are actually starting to loose traction... however miniscule the amount is)

Thanx Inane.Yah that light comes up,I thought VSC light will be one with vsc written itself.so that means all the light. on my dash is working.

yeah the only time the VSC shows up is if something aint right... (or its been turned off!)
