DIGITAL INSTRUMENT CLUSTERS FOR AE92

Hi Again Everyone from Sunny South Africa

I was looking through a few International Toyota websites and came across these pictures...The captions said that they were from an AE92 spec Toyota...A few of the captions were written in Japanese... :roll: So naturally i just retrieved the pics only...Are there any AE92's in your country (NEW-Zealand) with any of these Instrument clusters as per pics below... :?: And if Yes...Are they Easily available...Can one one buy them somewhere... :?: Cheers and Thanks for the help... 8)

i would advise staying well away from the digital dash

there analog one will be around here 2nd hand

Yes we do have the digital dash in some cars here in NZ. I used to own an AE92 with one about 1 year ago.
Mr revhead says "keep away from them" as they aren't very reliable.
As far as I know they will just plug straight into the standard loom.
If you want one I am sure there will be one or 2 for sale somewhere here.
Where in SA do you live? I spent 2 weeks in J'burg and Durban for a wedding/holiday. Some mad cars!!

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

Hi Ken...Hey I missed you then I stay in Durban...Yes I would love to get me hands on one of those Digital Instrument Clusters if possible...I am bit of an electronics fundi and would enjoy...ahem...the challenge of connecting one... :lol: Ken did you have the long type cluster like in the AE92 FXGT or the short ones like in the middle picture above... :?:

Hi there jailbird...Do you have the long type cluster or the short one... :?: the long one i am referring to has the oil pressure gauge and voltmeter etc...Lemme know... :wink:
