Tein Suspension

Postby trd-drifting » Mon May 29, 2006 7:04 pm

Ive just managed to pick up a set of half decent tien adjustables for my ma70. I have put in and were 90% all the shocke were the same etc.. but i looked over them quickly. Now the front has got a inch to wind down and it already to touches the guard n the back is still like 2 inches from being as low as the guards wound down. Just thought i mite ask sum questions might save me some time. wat would i hapn if i put the heavier springs in the back would it change it anything or upset the balance of the car. Or should i pull out and double check all shocks to see if front or rear.

Also any1 know where i can get a desent strut brace from for a reasonable price.

Seems to be common with Tein dampers. The rears wont go as low as the fronts. Ive got same issue in my UZX90. Try not to wind them all the way down or they will 'fall out' of their operating zone & hit bumpstops easily. If you have keeper springs still in there you can take them out & it should lower about 1 inch extra, but still run risk of shock issues.
Wouldnt recommend going harder springs, they will be well matched already and there is plenty adjustment on shocks if you have 'HA damper'.
