7afe---Ignition? Coil or dizzy...Which is best?

Postby no_8wire » Thu Jun 01, 2006 9:23 am

Now I have been ringing around, and have been offered two 7afe engines for the same price...how ever one uses coils, eg has crank angle sensor, and one is just a normaly dizzy type...

Any advantage of one over the other?
Can a link run with a crank angle sensor?

i would say the later model could be the coils...

Also you will be using a diff head so it wont matter, if u use a 20v head u will use the 20v dizzy etc
