Individual Throttle Bodies

Postby NooDleS » Thu Jun 01, 2006 12:00 pm

Anybody done this before?

Being a bit of a N/A nut this mod just has to be done. The only issue i'm having is the torque curve. The 5E-FHE pulls from about 2500rpm. With ITB's the whole torque curve shifts up. Aside from a lightweight flywheel, pulleys and a decent few hours on a dyno tunning an apexi s-afc. What options could you see me taking to either compensate or help restore low down torque?

The 4-2-1 Manifold could be improved.
I can legally de-cat it.
How could i safely raise the compression? Currently running 10.5:1
