New toy need some advice/information - 94 Starlet Turbo

Postby theCharmed01 » Fri Jun 02, 2006 1:31 am

I have picked up a 94 Starlet as a runabout, and I need some parts for it.

Where would I be best to go for a reasonable deal?

I also would like some information about it if possible. I think from google it is an Ep82 ? 1994 GT Starlet ?
It is a manual........

Is there anyway to tell from chassis/engine info if this is correct and info that I can use to ask about parts would be super helpful.......
I know there are often things like engine colours/directions and features that can give away a lot but I just dont know much about Toyotas so thought I would come to the experts............

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah EP82 4e-fte bla bla bla. Well what kind of parts would be a good start?
Chassie code and serial numbers are on the build plate.

It was a stolen recovered so I need pretty much a full set of locks and ignition barrel to start with, also looking for the steering column surround to get me going.

Or if your planning to keep it for a long time. Fix the locks and panel over the key holes. Use a central locking remote. Safer ;)

Thanks, not sure if I want to bother spending too much on it is all.

My bf gave me this as a runaround because our Lancer suddenly developed a nasty spending habit which requires much time off the road and little use as a normal vehicle.

I just needed something to do normal stuff in without really worrying......like going to the supermarket, going out to visit people.......easy and hassle free.

I havent got a heck of a lot of spare dough as PLAFUL seems to be bleeding me dry and then some so I'd like to just get this going as cheap and quick as possible, then maybe think more about it later.......

As above, mostly the plastic steering column panels top and bottom, and a set of locks.

I believe we may well have an account with your work too, I know your work have one with us :P
