W56 into 79 Corona

Ok ive got my hands on what ive been told is a w56 gearbox came out of a late 80s corona wagon with a 1C deseil engine in it(is this right?). I was wanting to know what i would have to do to fit it in a 79 corona wagon, fitted with a T50. Could I use the gearbox cross-member from like the corona it came out of or maybe a corona which was fitted with a 3tgte and w series gearbox?
