Battery Light While Braking?

Hey guys,

My battery light comes on intermittently while braking... any idea what it could be? I havnt swapped the battery yet but ive checked all the connections and everything seems fine....

Its on my lil sisters mitsi mirage asti v coupe thing... 1.3 pos...

Anyone know where i could find bgb or something for a mirage? keen to find the diagnostic mode info...

it could be that it has got worn alternator brushes, moving under braking away...
