Asking on behalf,
Say car "A", when driven hard, doesn't smoke or smell of oil at all, however under hard braking from say, 50km/h, or holding revs momentarily at 6000rpm, causes the cabin to smell strongly of burning oil? The dipstick shows the oil level to be about 1/3 overfull, would this be causing it? The lateral force on the motor under brakes must cause the oil to do something, but what? Even rolling at idle from 50 to stop, you get the smell.. car doesn't seem to be burning oil, or blowing smoke..
Ideas? Is this just due to it being slightly overfull?
