HEL Braided brake hoses

Postby hoolio » Tue Aug 29, 2006 4:52 pm

Anyone know anything about the HEL braided brake hoses...? (see link below)

http://www.autopassion.co.nz/performanc ... ches.shtml

ie; do they make a noticeable difference over dirty old stock rubber hoses as far as stopping performance ?
(talking for a road application here only)

I failed a WOF due to a sad couple of brake hoses so Im looking at replacement options.

Is there a cheaper braided hose alternative - if anyone knows, I was quoted $395 for a set of 4.

Yeah small difference but not really required unless you are 'no cost spared' racing.

cnsidering, you could get new one made at your brake shop, or ready made from bnt/repco etc for about 1/10th of cost.
