Workshop/repair manual for EP80R

Postby primicsea » Fri Oct 20, 2006 7:46 pm

I have had a look around for a workshop/repair manual for a Starlet EP80R 1.0 GL but cannot find one.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of one for this model, or if I can use a manual for another model that has similar technical data e.g. torque settings, spark plug gaps etc.
thanks

Best place to look is Japan. Sadly the manuals will be in japanese though. We have manuals for the Ep71's, 82's and 91's all in Japanese that we got over there. Haven't had any luck finding anything over here but you never know someone may know of some.

I've somewhere got some workshop manuals that I think Chilton or someone like that put out which are for imported cars, although not as detailed as a genuine toyota manual they do usually show you how to do most things & have all the neccesary torques etc & are in English, might be worth looking or asking round to see if someone has one that has the relevant info for you car.

just get one for a local model corrolla with 2e. ee80 or something like that.
go to your local library and see what you can find in the toyota manuals
2e stuff will be very similar to the mighty 1e.
