hey guys, i've tried a search and haven't come up with a definitive answer - but did stumble across that page where you guys had an indepth discussion about all the codes for toyotas and that..

my friends toyota trueno ae101 (silvertop) has been giving gearbox problems recently after he apparently hit a 'big fvckoff rabbit'. i know theres plenty of underbody protection against this kind of thing...

so he has dropped the gearbox out, and we're wanting to know what kind of box his is..

he has txt me these codes:

Z212206777 and 10-1....

no way to tell from the box itself.
unless you are the ultimate geek!
look at the build plate.
itll be a c52 or if facelift a c56
