AE101 TRD short shift any use in a AE111

Ive got a AE101 short shift from my old car but now have a AE111. The shift in the AE111 feel shorter than the factory shift in the AE101. So before I go pulling the car to bits and knocking of the split washer thing (and prob breaking it) can anyone tell me if its worth the hassle.

i remember seeing that you can lengthen the load arm by 10 cm or so, which creates a home made job

10cm Think it would be less than that

I dont think the ae101 bracket will bolt in, but you can prolly fit just the leaver but the base might need spacers to keep clearance from the floor

Will keep you in mind though I am a bit of a hoarder, stuff just goes in the cupboard if not used.
