ok planning on doing a oil change in my st185 gt4 A,any gearbox oil you guys recommend and how much will i need

Around five (maybe six) quarts of Redline 75W-90NS. You must must MUST use a GL-5 gear oil. ATF also works well (and I've used it) but the gear protection capability is a bit suss.

what he said, but unless the 4wd gearbox is HEAPS bigger, i only need 4 quarts to do the MR2 gearbox

by heaps bigger could you be taking the size of the transfer case into consideration?

I use a mtl & shockproof depending on what i can get... cleaning up the gear changes on screwed sycnros
AE92, KZJ120, KDJ120

I use Castrol Multitrax, it takes about 5.5litres of oil in the GT4 box (thats includiding oil cooler).
