hey guys im about to go to repco and get some sealant.
for my camshaft end cap, cam covers and sump.
can anyone recommend a selant?
also what torque are cam bearing cap thingies set to?
i cant find it in my haynes manual

For the sump I'd use only the special sealant from Toyota as they dont have a sump gasket as such. You shouldnt need any sealant for the cam covers, although I got told to use some on the covers where they go over the cams.
Just any black gasket sealant will do, Selleys make one and theres a cheaper version made by someone else which I use and works well

yea the manual says and it already had some sealant on the #1 cap. (closet to wheel) id rather do it and prevent future leakages
