Camry wagon suspension replacement/upgrade

Postby KinLoud » Fri Jan 12, 2007 10:29 am

My wiser half (Sarah) has a 1995 2.2l Camry wagon.
She would like it to handle a bit better than it does at the moment.

Can people recommend:
Shocks - would like them to be firmer than factory

Springs - We would like them to be firmer than factory. Don't want to lower it as it has to be driven over paddocks and on gravel roads sometimes. Is there an Aussie "outback pack" option which has firmer springs (I know than holden do/used to do this)

Swaybar bushes have been done.

I have looked at springs and swaybars on related toyotas (windom, lexus etc.) and it seems that the NZ new camry wagon has equal or thicker/stronger springs and swaybars than the others.

Thanks

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!
