Ae101 ECU fault

My ECU has packed up, it won't give fault codes, has a very low idle, and the car won't rev pass 4k even when in neutral.

I swaped the computer with the one from my other car and problem solved.

What I'm wondering is where/how do I repair my faulty ECU (if its possible to fix) or should I just bin it and find a new one.
I opened it up and I can't see any signs of failure, but I'm not an expert.

So any experence advice would be appreciated.

these things they go about $50-150 bucks... There should be some floating arround...

yeah just get a new one
id sell you one but cbf. so ring Tparts (0508tparts) ask for john (not johnny) and tell him i (warwick) sent you (man thats a lot of brackets)
ask for a face lift one

open it up and replace the two capacitors that have prolly shat them selves
