4age AE101 auto loom M/T ecu

Hello..

I have recently just purchased a Sard ECU for my AE101 silvertop with is a straight plug and play for a manual..

when i removed the original ecu it had A/T stamped on it so the previous owner may have done a auto/manual conversion and used the auto ecu.

my problem is i have rewired the auto loom to match the M/T loom wiring diagram on here http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20and%20tech_pages/ECU%20Japan%204age%2020V%20Silver.htm

i picked up a 12pin ecu plug to replace the 22pin dash plug and the other 26pin and 16pin fitted fine

i have rewired all the wires but still won't run
i have 4 wires that havn't been used
all from the 22 pin auto plug

pin 07
pin 14
pin 15
could this be the reason it isn't running?

have you noticed that pins 23-26 are different on one plug to the other

i have rewired the 26pin conenector up im pretty sure thats right..
but the old 22 pin connector is the problem i think
which is 22 Pin O Connector on club4ag url
i needed to replace that plug with a 12pin to fit the ecu i have 4wires left over from there i dont know where they go

im thinking pin 22 looks to be your problam one from what is sed there im just trying to rembour what NSM stands for

is it cranking at all if not i think 22 is the inhibtor switch if so you will need to bridge it out

at least thats what it looks like in the last wirieng digraphm is that 22 on the bottom far left

yes the motor cranks over

the NSM wire is in the far bottom left of the plug it is a larger wire than the rest about 2.5 mm i think

Pin 22 is Neutral start switch... not used on M/T

pin 07 is also not used auto wire

pin 14 and 15 dont get used



have you tryed to pull check codes off the ecu? it may tell you what sensor its not reading

for some odd reason i had wired the ignitor wire up wrong and had a wire that doesnt get used on it lol clever...

well runs really well alot more torque now and pullin past 8krpm feels great
