TAVAS what is it & how douse it work ??

Postby big_boy » Fri Feb 09, 2007 9:46 am

ok well my orrignal supra motor has it but i dont fully under stand it i havent striped the motor yet but what i know is

theres a control box on the Fire wall for it with an oil feed/& sump return going to it & what looks like a AFM plug on the side of it witch is/was conected to the ECU & a relay provideing 12V from under the bonnot there is also 4 oil line`s going to the head just beside the back of the cam backing plate from the control box

im starting to question if this is a valve oil feed or something like that or if is is something a little better/more intersting than that

i think the V=valve & one of the A`s = automatic

also posably the T=toyota & S=system (not sure just seamed logical)
