6 is the width of the rim, J i think has something to do with the strength or the lip? not 100% sure on that bit

the offset is usually stamped onto the wheel somewhere, will be a number like ET35, more than likely on the back surface of the rims somewhere, possibly on a sticker

Aside from above confirming fit, the calculators on the linked post should be enough for you to confirm things.
Although the many of mags I see have a stamp identifying somewhere, Ive owned a few sets which have nothing at all.
Cant believe im still a member here.

What is the wheel you have on it?

Most wheels only come out in one or two offsets per size, which will be on the net somewhere.

After reading this thread - http://forums.celicasupra.com/showthread.php?p=128156

I would recommend these offsets in the widths you want

Front 6.5" rim -10 offset
Rear 8" rim 0 offset

I'd suggest going to a 7 inch rim at the front and 0 offset.
Makes it less of a random set, as far as resale goes. :)

6j = small, 205 tires will look silly as they will overhang the rim, even 195's on a 6j rim hang over a bit, get 7inch.. don't muck around
