I just put a ghia dash into my little laser hack wagon since it had the rev counter but:

Need to know where to hook up the 3 wires that come of the plug in the back? i was told one is; earth, power, last one to the distributor?

any ideas you brainy lot

yep, 12v, earth and negative side of coil.
has it got any symbols on the back of it? most have a '+ - I' or something to similar degrees.

ive only installed a couple of these, the last on i did was:

red: 12v +
black: 12v - earth
green: - side coil.

and the other was the same, but white wire to coil.

No symbols at all but i looked at the car manual book and found that the yellow wire goes to the coil - , the other colours are White/black strip and green but the book didnt say which is earth or power?

white & black is offen toyota power +12v in eletric windows but i cant say it deffently is for this
