Hey... im interested to know if a 4E-FE gearbox wil fit onto a 4E-F engine? and looking to swap over complete conversion kit.

there the same engin so yes the only differenc between them is the bolt on bits ie: carby vs EFI

i were told, maybe the starter motor had different bolt hole placements.

that is posable altho iv never heard of it i know 2E & 4E-FE are the same but if you think there different just take the steel plates of both motors & swap them arround

If it works on the same principle as a 3s-f and a 3s-fe then no. Bolts etc all good. Main thing is the engine mounts. I know that my mates 3s-fe gearbox won't fit on my corona due purely to the fact that mine has the old rubber mounts he has some shock absorber looking mount on the gearbox.

Long as mounts match everything else should be sweet, but as always check the splines match.
