standard bluetop pistons

Postby lucasthefallen » Sun Mar 25, 2007 6:51 pm

ok, building a bluetop with mild mods ( saving 1.1mm off the head to raise compression to 11.5:1, advice giving to me on another thread here )

will the standard bluetop pistons take this sort of compression, considering standard is only like 9.4:1?

would it be worth while getting some new high compression pistons?

They'll be fine as long as its not pinging, they seem to take forced induction alright.
