$$% arse warrant guy spent an hour on my car trying to fail it and he did on modifed engine mounts without a cert... said the 8mm plate steel wasn't strong enough... even though it had been in there for atleast 2 years and showed NO signs of fatigue what-so-ever.
Anyways, i made up some new, more stealthy ones.
The leave the xmember in the orginal place on the chassis tunnel and change where the bottom of the gbox actually mounts to the top of the mount.


Before they were painted, u can see how they change position of the bolt holes, one of the holes will just be used to give additional support to the new bracket, will be PLENTY strong enough, and hopefully near invisible
