The 'high amperage' SW20 ones are 80 amp. They're with the power steering models. The ones without power steering are 60 amp, as the power steering pump is electric in them.

The physical size of them is different between the 60 amp and the 80 amp ones. If you have a non power steering model and get a power steering version of the alternator, you'll have to get the mounting bracket as well.

You have no idea how much of a headache this caused me :)

As a guide.

gen1 sw20 manual 3sge ->80amp
gen1 sw20 turbo ->100amp
gen1 sw20 auto ->100amp

gen2+ auto/manual/turbo all generally tend to be 90amp units. If you want the biggest and badest get the 100amp unit from the gen1 turbo or gen1 autos. As for the PS steering, never quiet attributed the manual/ps steering to the size of the alternator.

As per above the 100amp WILL NOT fit in the a smaller 80amp brackets.
Yes same as 7M supras.
