Remote shifter???

Postby FST4RD » Tue May 01, 2007 9:23 pm

Just to get things straight.....
With the w5* gearboxes they come in a number of gear shifter positions from my understanding, front, rear, remote etc.....
I'm guessing by being called a remote shifter that if you were to put this gearbox into a car that doesn't normally have one you can put it in and then mount the shifter anywhere basically.
Am i right??

No like a W58 out of a supra, i'm guessing that it's like a FWD type gear box with linkages and cables??
