Headers hitting clutch slave? AA60 4age

Postby Hachiroku » Sat May 05, 2007 7:12 pm

I'm putting a smallport into my AA60 and keeping the standard T40 gearbox. Because it was originally 3a powered the clutch fork is on the passenger's (wrong) side. I've got some dirty Coby extractors to point the exhaust the right way but they're going to foul on the clutch slave cylinder. Will using a standard RWD exhaust manifold solve my problem? If so does anybody have a spare they want to sell me? Thanks in advance :D

hah! had the exact same thing. stock manifold doesnt help as its still setup for clutchfork on drivers side/ae86 etc (dont know where you get "wrong" side from)

i just got a "L" fitting for the slave cylinder / flexi with 1 male fitting and 1 female fitting.

now simply scoots around extractors.

Thanks mate, I'll give that a crack. I meant wrong as in wrong side for 4age, correct for 3au. You didn't have any problems with the clutch slave etc getting too hot?
