Postby Soarer T » Thu May 24, 2007 2:00 am

trying to get late model(gray plug) 7mgte wire up to early model mk3 supra(yellow plug). got problem with plug B1(22 pin)and M1(10pin). the 7mgte has more wires in B1 and M1 but earkt model has less wires. just want to know what wire must connect to get the car going.any suggesting would be appriciate.

i am pretty much figured out the B1 and M1 from 7MGE plugs (body). from these two photos, thats all the plug i have got for both 7MGE(body) and 7MGTE (engine), had labeled some plug that i found correctly. how about the rest? from the reading, there is a bit difference for the pin number for the rest of the plug in which i did not figure out.

anyone could tell me what the rest plug refer to?

i think this is a plug "C1", what i have got from the engine is the same plug and wires, but from the body, i got yellow plug exactly the same shape as gray plug and only one wire diferent. ( Blue/white for 7mgte and White/black for 7mge body) how do i wire this ?

M1 - Located near the ECU behind the glove box. Handles most signals going to the combination meter
B1 - Located near the ECU behind the glove box. Handles mostly control signals
B2 - Located near the ECU behind the glove box. Handles mostly the ECT signals
B3 - Located near the ECU behind the glove box. Handles mostly the ABS signals
C1 - Located near the fuse box in the engine bay. Delivers the plus signals for the E.F.I. system
U1 - Located at the firewall. Just a connector for the theft deterrent horn, but it is called a connector joining wire harness, anyways.

My car will be back in my hands in a week will take photos of plugs

as my car will be only setup as Manual turbo. so i think there are quite a lot wires i can get rid of (like, TEMS,ABS,ECT, SRS).
well, hopefully you have your car back pretty soon.
