g-code lsd differences???

just wondering if there are any differences between a hilux g-code slippa and an irs g-code slippa ie ma70???

afaik the heads are interchangeable but the hilux lsd doesn't have the ramps, where the ma70 ones do (ma70 is better)

a description on these 'ramps' seems to be very vague. what are these 'ramps' what do these 'ramps' do once they ingage?

when one wheel spins at a different speed to the other, the ramps move agains a central pin which pushes away from the pin and puts load on the clutch plates to lock them up. 1way, 1.5way and 2way operate like this depending on the angle of the ramp.

hilux lsd has a spring in the middle which gives preload to the clutch plates and you can shim it up to give a higher preload.
the ramp style mechanical lsd is more performance orientated. hilux lsd still good for street with the correct clutch loading etc
