Help! 1UZ-FE Accessory Belt Tensioner replacement.

Hi guys,

Well I came to discover that my tensioner was in bad shape, Lucky I found it like this when I did. Whats happen is the mount that goes through the bearing has broken apart making it totally useless. Hard to explain exactly so heres some pictures.







Ive called around wreckers with no luck, so does anyone have one they could sell me or any ideas for other possible wreckers that may have one?

Dude, seriously why in the hell would you go on the cheap and buy a 2nd hand tensioner? WHY?

That's like going to the White House and having a prime piece of 'meat' offered to you and settling for loose cannon down the end of K Road. IT CAN ONLY END WITH PROBLEMS!

Dude, hahaha

Because for a new tensioner Toyota want $700 + GST which is a complete joke and the perfectly fine 2nd hand unit I got off a low km Jap v8 Unit was only $35, its all back on my car working even better before.

if new one is $700, why don't you machine a steel insert instead of broken piece (it could be screwed in or pressed in depends on what it does)....
