boost surge sw20

anyone have a clue about the boost surging from 10psi to 5psi even when its hot, no engine lights or anything show, so what could it be?

the turbo seems to be reaming its guts out like it should but only get 5psi 70% of the time.

had the cambelt replaced and timming checked, seems spot on

check all hoses and connections

Too much knock gives that.

Use to get it when I am at meremere on hard launch, car thinks I got knock and puts it in limp mode.
