Turbo Vac Line: Plumbing

Postby no_8wire » Sun Jul 08, 2007 10:19 am

I am having a little trouble figuring out which goes were etc for the vac line for my turbo.

In the first picture (Boost control solenoid) the smaller tube is where the air feed hooks in.
One is a bleed vent and one is to the acutator

Question is, where does the air lines to the BOV hook into?
And on the SW20 BOV there is a small valve as well? How do I hook this up?

That is a legacy solenoid? Man apart from 200CCs your engine setup is the same as mine will be! 8)
I *think* with the SW BOV just run a vac line from the top pipe to the intake manifold - the little three port valve is good for that, and take out the VTV from the bottom pipe and block it off.

The port at the top of the BOV is connected to the intake manifold plenum, the small line with the restrictor is tee'd into the same pipe.
