Postby Wolf_Tm250 » Wed Jul 18, 2007 9:17 pm

Hello,

given that i went over 650Nm of torque, i think i really need to upgrade gears and shafts:

Thank you.

is that on an engine dyno? how much boost are you running?

It seems crazy torque from a 3SGTE unless you running well over 30psi boost and have a list of mods and long as your arm.

HDJ81- 112AWKW @ 10psi), FC3S (Tarmac Spec 335rwhp@11psi), 3SGTE stroker - replacement body found.

On roller dyno (and not a dynojet), I was at 588 Nm at 2.0 bar before the last few mods... that, yes, are long as my 2 arms !

have you got yours mods listed somewhere - i had a look at your webpage but it didn't tell me much.

Provided you dont do hard launches on tarmac with sticky tyres your gearbox SHOULD hold together OK.

Ok, thank you !
BTW I'm looking for some kind of cryo treatment on gears and shafts... seems to work very well...

Bye
