Altezza Hard Starting

Postby NILPSI » Sun Aug 12, 2007 10:01 pm

My girlfriends altezza SXE10 3SGE is having a few issues when starting

Doesnt happen under any particular conditions, car could have been turned off 10 seconds before hand or could have been parked for 10 hours.

It turns over for ages then slowly starts to fire up one cylinder at a time almost like its a carbied engine thats been flooded, at first i didnt really think it was an issue but its started happening more and more often, just wondering if anybody has had this happen or knows of it happening to somebody else?

Any help would be great,
Cheers

one of my mates altezza did the same thing. Does yours sound like a subaru once started. We couldn't figure out why after changing spark plugs, tested battery etc.

we took it to toyota and ended up changing the coils.
