seen this steel case box behind a 1S-U any ideas was a 5 speed maybe from an aussie corona at a guess? think that bell would still fit a w55 kind of looks like it

Borg Warner 5spd yes its a POS

Same bell pattern as early celica cast W50

Bellhousing will not fit W55

cheers but na look at the pic all that info is w50, w55 etc, I could be wrong but dont think its anywhere in there

cheers came to the conclusion it was a commy box on the piss in the weekend just compared to a w50 bell I have here it seems to have to many bolts to fit to a w50

you say it's from behind a 1s, possibly out of an old rwd corona? a friend of mine got a w55 from a 1s corona, had w55 stamped on the firewall. hope that helps.
