Wierd Glanza Problem

Postby Caribeena » Fri Sep 07, 2007 9:27 pm

Hey guys,
got a bit of a problem with the starlet glanza v.
everytime the clutch pedal goes in, it feels like the car hits a bump.. its hard to describe, plus its dark outside so haven't had a chance to have a good look.
but yeah, only notice it first to second and second to third really, jsut when your foot goes down on the clutch.. boom down ya go (feels like anyway), tried going a clutchless change and sure enough soon as you put it in gear again it does the same thing.( note this occurs only when engaging gear this way, not when bringing it out of gear)
does anyone know what this could be?
i'm thinking maybe cv's like its popping out then popping in again, or spring may have fallen out off strut, or gearbox related?
i'm stumped!
let me know what you guys think...
thanks

Does it do the same thing when you pulse the accelerator?

nope... jsut pulse the accelerator and guide it into gear.

found what it is... its the front mount that holds the gearbox onto the chassy rail, only helfd in by one bolt. and it passed it warrant yesterday to! at VTNZ.
