Removing VVT

Hey im rebuilding my head, silvertop 20v (4agte) and was woundering would it be better to remove the VVT? If so, how do i go about doing it?

only if your adding large cams into the mix that wont allow for vvt, otherwise keep it
unplug the vvt solenoid, change cam gears
