Fix one, one more to go

Ok had my shocks done all sweet. Had an exhaust leak fixed (Middle joining section) all sweet. Had the rubber boot at the back of the diff fixed which the rear sway bar was hitting. Also replaced the left front camber bolt as it was the wrong diameter! The guy also checked out all the bushings and said everything was fine.

So noticed instantly that the shock replacement was needed. Car handles much better and tracks straight. BUT i am still getting the clicking noise from the steering column. It's random but on a drive from the City to the Takas it did it 3 times. Always at low revs and low speed. Now i was able to do some 'testing' whilst it was doing it.

If i increase in revs (From 30k in 4th at about 1500) up to 2200ish the click gets faster and louder (Lack tapping knuckles on plastic) lift off the noise gets quieter. Apply gas again and it gets faster and louder. It's a rotary kind of clicking. This is all going in a straight line, i did some swerving and it didn't change. As i increase in speed to above 40 it goes away.

I can't replicate it at will it just happens. I can't feel anything through the steering wheel and the car doesn't do anything odd. The only thing to note (And this has happened since i had the car) that from a standstill or very low revs there is a vibe sound from the engine before the turbo spools up, probably a different issue all together but thought i would mention it.

This brings me on to my final thing and that is where should i take it to get it checked out? I have to say Shane from Mag n Turbo on beach road (The guy who did my shocks and stuff) seemed on to it, but wondering who comes most recommended in the Auckland area? Ideally the CBD area.
