sc12 spinning both ways?

hey sorry for being a noob .. dont know much about these as ive also tried searching but couldnt find what i needed ...

can a sc12 supercharger run both ways?

whats better than drinking corona? driving one ...

yeah, based on his user name im assuming hes thinking about putting it on a honda - most likely one of those dodgy anti-clockwise rotaters ;)

a friend of mine put a sc14 onto his h22a and it ran fine.

also, if you intend to run any more than about 10lbs, you would probably be better moving up to an SC14 which pumps 1.42L/rev as opposed to 1.2L/rev and that way you don't run into their RPM limit either(~11000 RPM).

If you want some more info on them, have a look through my posts on superchargers and bypass valves as some of the info is gold, and it means that it doesnt need to be asked again. :)

true that, they're not straight cut gears.

Though I'm sure I've heard of it being done before.

But yeah, wouldn't be good for the gears.

gearsh should be fine but since its spinning the other way the driven gear would get forced axially the other way which may cause some problems down the line. but thats down the line after you've had some boosting.

thanks for the help guys and yes im thinking of putting it in my hunduh ...

ive seen and read a few h22s running sc14 and was just wondering if they were same as sc12 ... im not looking at heaps of boost probly just 6 or something .... until i can find a nice targa top SW20 :D .....
