What should I replace along with my cambelt?

Postby ollieboy » Thu Oct 04, 2007 2:08 pm

I just want to double check I have everything written down before I order it.

Engine is 4age in '84 mr2 with about 205,000 kms on.

Reason for needing cambelt replaced is the tensioner bearings failed and the tensioner basically fell off.

So I obviously need:
Cambelt
Tensioner and idler

Think its a good idea to replace:
Cam seals
Waterpump
Thermostat.
Radiator Cap.

Anything else I need or you think I don't need off the list.

Cheers
Ollie

Sorry to bring this up again but I was just checking. Is it necessary to replace the waterpump or will it be fine?
