****can you use copper fuel lines?****

im just wondering if u can use copper for fuel lines? its easyer to bend but i herd it breaks down and can leak frm fuel

i no it wont burst as i no they can get tested to up to 400psi

just thinking bout cert if it will pass with them?

copper is worth too much :P sell it and buy proper lines with the money you get :lol:

im doin refigeration and aircon apprntship and yeh they handle the pressure fine but the vibrations wont be the best for it

yeah i agree where you bend the tube it ends up work hardending and is at a higher risk of cracking, Ive considered it cause im in the trade aswell 8) but decieded its not a good idea

Use Cupronickel brake line(comes in a few diff sizes, big enough for fuel line). Easy to bend, doesnt rust, made for cars.

Copper becomes brittle with age and loses it ablity to bend. so a rock or vibration could easly break the line, with fuel going everywhere.

sounds good enough for you not to do it?

and anyone that can mandrel bend 8-10mm stainless?
