KE30 Suspension querry

Hey all
Im about to re-do my front suspension in the ke30...

Currently it has Carina TA63 Front struts an vented brakes etc... but once i put the camber plates on the spring etc hits the strut tower.

Im looking into replacing the struts with another type or go straight towards coilovers.

Just wondering what struts from other toyotas are interchangable???

Found a set of D2 AE111 coilovers an thinking of modding them to fit onto another set of toyota stuff so that it will all mount up properly.

wasting ya time with the D2s i reckon

only thing you could use would be the spring and nuts probaly as the AE111 strut is nothing like a KE# one.

keep ya TA63 struts and get parts from stocks to make ya own coilovers
they will be better quality too

cressida struts have been made into coilovers in a ke30 - see methods, i want to do that with mine as well.
