an interesting itb setup

Postby gasman » Fri Dec 28, 2007 2:34 pm

heres a video of a very intersting itb set up

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGvGgTS4 ... re=related

from the looks of things it seems that 1 and 4 are connected together and 2 and 3 are connected together similar to an exhaust. maybe it works in a similar fashion to the scavenging effect.

first time ive seen something like that.

I may be wrong*, but it looks like they have the ITBs setup coming from two pods, split into cylinders 1 and 4, and, 2 and 3... I don't see how it would help scavenging wise, although it may help keep intake velocity up in the pipe from the pod.

There was discussion about this sort of thing a while back, in this thread...

I guess it may help increase torque lower down as it may be tuned length intake.

*I'm watching it via terminal services so I have video lag issues.
