where to buy longer wheel studs for hilux????

Postby rxtoy » Fri Dec 28, 2007 8:46 pm

fitting some 19's to my hilux, proving to be quite a mission and one of the things i'm having issues with due to needing spacers is the wheel studs are a little too short (only getting about 3 complete turns, not happy with that). where can i get new/2nd hand ones from that are longer????

don't suppose anybody knows it 6 stud ones (surf, 4wd hilux) are longer???

cheers
Matt

Punch one out and take it to your local wrecker and ask if they have anything a few turns longer

yeah, was sort of planning that if nobody came up with anything but somebody hit the buy now on the wheels today anyway, saves me a bit of trouble, will just have to roll on the 18's and next time i'll make sure the wheels fit properly anyway.

cheers
