tial 35mm wastegates?

Postby l1ttle_d3vil » Wed Jan 09, 2008 10:02 pm

do these exist? they don't seem to be mentioned on the tial website but may just be a discontinued line or something - they are on ebay /overseas sites though.

do they use the same springs as a 38mm wastegate? and is there going to be a massive different of performance between a 35mm and 38mm?

cheers

use to have one on my car, was stupidly loud. pretty sure the springs are the same as the 38mm ones

smaller gates would give better boost control, until you start boost creeping etc.
But if porting the standard gate doesnt work, a 38 would prolly be the way to go anyways.

what decides the size of the gate required? boost, or the size of the turbo too? i'm running a t28 and anything up to 20psi...

sounds like the 35mm ones are old anyway so would be better to go with a 38mm for that reason...just theres one on TM at the moment
