Caldina Dash Problems

Postby bbq1988 » Fri Jan 11, 2008 8:55 am

Hey there guys, has anyone had any problems with their caldina's dash cluster?

What happens with mine is intermittant but sometimes when i turn the car on no dash lights/tacho/speedo or trip meter works, the temp and fuel gauges work ok tho. the same thing has happend to me about 3 times while driving, it just turns off which is rather awkward at times :/

i hope some one can help :-)

Cheers

Possibly a loose connector, but if I was a betting man, I'd go for dry joints in the Dash Cluster

Take it to somewhere that does cluster work like Robinson Instrument Services

You might want to wait to hear if any Caldina owners that have had the same problem pop up first though.

there are 3 plugs that plug into the back of the cluster, id pop out the cluster and check they are in properly.
