Supra Hubs on celica

Postby NZVengeance » Fri Feb 08, 2008 11:34 am

would it be possible to change the hubs on a st205 celica to those off a supra.
this is just an idea i had which would give me the flexibility of 5x114.3 stud pattern for more rim options.

it would be far easier to just re-drill your existing hubs and brakes to that pattern I would think, provided there's enough meat there.

There will be considerable differences in the front hubs, so you wouldn't be able to use the Supra ones on the Celica, and while the rear hubs would at least be of the same type, the chances of the length, diameter, and inner spline size matching between the two models is pretty slim.

hmmm. ok so lets assume for the moment that there isn't enough meat to drill them out.

Could someone make new hubs to fit? or perhaps even use a space to change the stud pattern?

205 brakes are monsters too. I havent looked at any supra ones lately but i would consider most factory items a downgrade from 205 stuff.

Whats wrong with 5x100 anyways?

Its too hard to find good wheels . I found awesome wheels for my MR2 without even trying! The problem is there is only a small numbr of 5x100s around.
