Pod filter or Ramflo???

Postby smack » Mon Feb 11, 2008 12:49 am

hey guys. im needing help with my carburated toyota corona, i wanna put some sort of new intake system on it, but im not sure whether i should put a poddy on it or a ramflo, seeing as its carbied and all. itz an '89 corona sedan. what do you guys reckon will be the best/easiest?

i though i could just take the panel filter out of the airbox, and put a podfilter onto the pipe that runs into it, however the only place i can easily do this looks like it will be taking some sort of sensor out of comiision(i have a funny feeling its air/fuel seeing as its running off the intake and into the carby some where), and im not sure wheter or not i should do this.

any help much appreciated!! thanks guys

that sensor may just be something like idle speed control (mine revs up at start-up). should be piece of piss to install ramflo on top of the carby, may be noisy tho.
