after market rev counter

how would i go about setting up a after market rev counter?
wanting to put into a ae92 4age wagon as factory one isnt working,dont want it for bling :P

Setting it up how? They generally have 3 or 4 wires. Red to power, green to negative of coil, black to earth and white for illumination (I think). Then just put it where you want

run the tacho signal wire to the IG- terminal in/beside the diagnostic box if you dont want to pull the dash out or the feed there isn't working
